Each month, we feature a new colour from our extensive library and give you inspiration for if you’re thinking of using it. We are delighted to introduce Monaco, a rich blue green teal from our Artisan Chalk Finish library.
We wanted to find a colour that was rich, warm and inviting, so we took our cue from Mediterranean landscapes and the colour of the sea from Monte Carlo. This colour looks great left flat in our chalky finish or with a clear wax, but it’s just asking for some drama.
With our pearl glaze, it looks bejewelled and glossy, and with our Alchemy in copper on the decorative features of your piece, the colour takes on an almost verdigris look. We also adore it with other rich tones – imagine Monaco with our beautiful sunshine yellow, PROVENCAL to really bring out the warmth of the South of France.
