Surface Preparation

For ultra-slick manufactured surfaces such as melamine and laminate, we recommend applying Artisan Quick Prep first. This improves adhesion, blocks odours, prevents tannin bleed-through and enhances colour vibrancy for the best possible finish.

Artisan Mineral Paint works seamlessly with all Artisan specialty products including glazes, Instant Age, Pearl and metallics, allowing you to create custom finishes, layered effects and decorative techniques with ease.

There is no requirement to seal Artisan Mineral Paint, however you may choose to use any of the Artisan sealers or glazes to customise sheen, protection or decorative effects.
