There’s a big difference between something that se There’s a big difference between something that sells once…
and something customers walk back in asking for by name.

Repeat sales don’t happen because of clever marketing.
They happen because the product performs.

When paint behaves the way it should:
• Customers trust it
• Their projects turn out properly
• Complaints reduce
• Confidence grows

And that matters.

Because when there’s solid education behind a product, retailers aren’t left cleaning up confusion or managing preventable issues.

At Artisan, we’re not just putting paint on shelves.

We’ve built a system.

Prep. Prime. Paint. Protect.
Clear guidance. Real training. Ongoing support.
Consistent, Australian-made performance.

Loyalty isn’t created by noise.

It’s created by outcomes.

If you’re a retailer wanting a premium Australian brand that customers return for — not return to complain about — send me a message.

I’m interested in long-term relationships, not quick wins.

Let’s clear this up properly. Primer isn’t someth Let’s clear this up properly.

Primer isn’t something you use “just because.”
And it’s not something you skip because someone online said you could.

It depends entirely on what you’re painting.

Here’s when primer genuinely matters:

• Tannin-rich timbers – cedar, mahogany and some dark hardwoods can bleed through. That yellow or brown staining isn’t bad paint. It’s the timber reacting.
• Gloss, laminate or factory finishes – if it’s slick and shiny, you either need serious prep… or bonding support.
• Unknown surfaces – if you don’t know what’s underneath, primer removes the gamble.

Do you need it on every piece? No.
Do professionals use it strategically? Absolutely.

Primer isn’t about fear.
It’s about control.

And control is what gives you a calm, predictable, professional result.

If you’ve ever dealt with bleed-through, peeling or random patchiness, primer is usually part of that discussion.

Comment PRIMER and I’ll send you my quick guide on when to use it — and when you can confidently skip it.

There’s a moment when you wax a piece and everythi There’s a moment when you wax a piece and everything settles.

The timber deepens.
The carving sharpens.
The whole piece feels finished.

That’s what I love about a proper wax.

Our Artisan waxes are made using Australian waxes and oils — and they’re designed to do more than just sit on the surface.

They nourish the timber.
They protect the finish.
They add that soft, durable layer that makes a piece feel complete.
And that waxed glow cant be produced by any other finish

And the divine scent… it’s warm and natural. Not synthetic. Not overpowering. Just clean, honest, workshop-goodness.

Wax isn’t decoration.

It’s protection.
It’s depth.
It’s the final layer that respects the work you’ve already put in.

If you’re going to refinish something properly, finish it properly.

Let’s talk honestly for a moment. Cheap paint is Let’s talk honestly for a moment.

Cheap paint is rarely cheap.

When coverage and opacity is poor, you apply more coats.

If the paint isn’t building properly, it won’t hold up properly.
And that’s when you find yourself starting again.

When protection fails, you start again.

Time.
Extra product.
Extra sanding.
Extra frustration.

Professional-grade paint reduces redo work.
It builds properly.
It protects properly.
It performs properly.

That’s not luxury.
That’s economics.

If you’re going to do the work — do it once.
