With an inbuilt sealer and UV protection, there is no need for an additional topcoat, and colours won’t fade – even in outdoor conditions. Artisan Mineral Paint is water resistant, washable and self-levelling, delivering a beautiful smooth eggshell finish every time. The finish can be lightly distressed for a vintage look or left untouched for a clean, modern aesthetic.

Easy Application & No Sealer Required
Unlike traditional paints, no sealing is required. However, you may choose to use any of the Artisan sealers, glazes or decorative finishes for added protection or special effects.
Artisan Mineral Paint has been specifically formulated to withstand Australia’s harsh climate and strong UV exposure, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor furniture, cabinetry and décor. It is perfect for smooth modern finishes, mid-century modern (MCM) styles, stencilling and colour blending.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust, wax, grease or flaking paint.
While generally self-priming, an undercoat may be required on:

Highly glossy or slick surfaces (light sanding recommended)
Best Results – Quick Prep Recommended
For optimal coverage and colour vibrancy, we recommend applying a coat of Artisan Quick Prep. This helps block tannins, improve adhesion and reduce the number of paint coats required.
Apply using a synthetic brush, microfibre roller or spray system. Allow the first coat to dry before applying a second coat.
Drying & Curing

Fully cured: 7 days (keep above 10°C during curing)
No topcoat is required, but Artisan sealers and glazes can be used for decorative finishes or added durability in high-traffic areas.
